Cebuana manifested topping nurse licensure exams

Cebu Normal University (CNU) graduate Chariemae Nuñez Cañazares is still on cloud nine after being named topnotcher of the November 2024 Nurses Licensure Examination, a dream that she manifested and fulfilled.

Cañazares scored a 92.60% rating, the highest among the 29,349 nurses who passed the examination.

“I feel really blessed but I haven’t really processed everything yet, that’s all I can say, blessed,” she said in the report of GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak's Fe Marie Dumaboc in “24 Oras” on Friday.

Cañazares, who hails from Balamban town, Cebu Province, graduated magna cum laude.

She is now deciding on whether to continue working as a nurse or go into further studies to become a doctor.

In the board exam, University of the Philippines-Manila graduate Arianne Marie Baltero Estrella came in second and Xavier University's Alexandra Dalura Yamson placed third. — Vince Angelo Ferreras/BAP, GMA Integrated News
