73-year-old man dead after being pinned by coconut tree in Aklan

A 73-year-old man in Kalibo, Aklan died after he was pinned by a coconut tree.

According to the report of Barangay RU 9.29 Super Radyo Kalibo’s Lyneth Mendoza on Friday, the victim went to the banana plantation in Barangay Mobo when he did not notice that a coconut tree was being cut off.

The victim suffered wounds on the head and at the back.

He was rushed to the hospital by local emergency responders, but he eventually died a few minutes after.
