2,000 students in Camarines Sur receive early Christmas gifts from GMA Kapuso Foundation

After enduring the wrath of several tropical cyclones, students from Camarines Sur received early Christmas presents from the GMA Kapuso Foundation.

According to a report on "24 Oras," Wednesday, 2,000 Give-A-Gift Alay sa Batang Pinoy Christmas Bag filled with food, toys, and hygiene kits were distributed to students in the area.

Among the beneficiaries is nine-year-old Kylie from Gainza, who was left scared after witnessing the massive flooding in the province.

"Ang wish ko po sana hindi na bumalik ang Bagyong Kristine kasi po nakakatakot," she said when asked about her wish for Christmas.

GMA Kapuso Foundation EVP/COO Rikki Escudero-Catibog said Camarines Sur was chosen for the initial distribution of the gift bags after the suffering they went through.

"We really have to give para maramdaman nung mga biktima ng bagyo ang diwa pa rin ng Pasko," she said.

For those who are interested to help, GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Shopee, PayMaya, Zalora, MegaMart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
