65 Davao Region cops reassigned to other areas, PRO 11 says

A total of 65 police officers in Davao Region have been reassigned to other areas, according to the Police Regional Office 11 (PRO 11) on Wednesday.

PRO 11 spokesperson Police Major General Catherine dela Rey confirmed to GMA News Online that the national police headquarters ordered the reassignment of these cops to Cagayan Valley, Bicol, and Mimaropa.

The reassignment became effective on Monday.

Among the reassigned police personnel were Davao City police commanders who were relieved in July.

Dela Rey has yet to respond when asked about the reason behind the reassignment.

GMA News Online also asked the Philippine National Police (PNP) about the matter but it has yet to give a statement as of posting time.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
