3, including senior citizen, clubbed to death in Calamba

Three individuals, including a senior citizen, were found dead and covered in blood at a compound in Calamba City, Laguna.

In Jun Veneracion's report on Saksi, the victims were said to have been knocked with a piece of steel. 

Before the crime happened, the victims were even drinking alcohol with the suspect, the report said.

The suspect's live-in partner witnessed the crime and told the police that the victims were asleep when the beating started.

"Natutulog sila doon lang sa area na yon. Nagulat yung isang babae na parang biglang may isang malakas na lagabog. Nagulat yung isa niyang katabing lalaki," said Police Lieutenant Colonel Titoy Cuden. 

(They were asleep in that area. The woman was shocked when she heard a loud bang. The man next to him was surprised.) 

The suspect was arrested in the follow-up operation, who then explained that he committed the crime because of betrayal.
