1 reported dead in Camarines Norte due to Super Typhoon Pepito
One person was reported to have died in Daet, Camarines Norte due to the effects of Super Typhoon Pepito, according to its Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).
In its situational report on Sunday, Daet MDRRMO said a 76-year old man perished after he was caught in a vehicular accident due to hanging internet cables along Bagabas Road.
The Daet MDRRMO also recorded 26,589 affected families or more than 116,000 affected individuals in 25 barangays.
There were no other reported casualties or damaged houses so far in the municipality.
The western portion of Camarines Norte is under Signal No. 3 while Signal No. 2 was hoisted over the rest of the province.
Pepito made landfall in the vicinity of Panganiban, Catanduanes on Saturday evening.
