4,784 people stranded by Super Typhoon Pepito — PCG

More than 4,700 passengers have been stranded by inclement weather caused by Super Typhoon Pepito, according to the Philippine Coast Guard on Sunday morning.
In its Maritime Safety Advisory for 4 a.m. to 8 a.m. Sunday, the Coast Guard identified the affected areas as Southern Tagalog, Eastern Visayas, Bicol, Central Visayas and Western Visayas.
Stranded in various ports are a total of 4,784 passenger and drivers, 27 vessels, eight motorbancas and 1,940 rolling cargoes.
Another 314 sea vessels and 218 motorbancas have also sought shelter from rough waters.
