4-year-old boy in Cebu dies after being pinned by metal railing

A 4-year-old boy in Cebu City died from injuries he sustained when a metal railing fell on him, according to a 24 Oras report on Wednesday.

According to GMA Regional TV, CCTV footage from the Pasil Fishport showed victim Chris Mark Sandoval leaning on a metal railing when another child climbed over it, causing the barrier to fall on the victim.

People rushed to help the unconscious victim who was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

However, due to the severity of his injuries, Chris Mark was transferred to another hospital where he eventually passed away.

The victim’s family has sought assistance for the late child.

Meanwhile, the local government and the police said that they are conducting separate investigations.
