Over 1,500 Batanes residents affected by Typhoon Julian receive aid from GMA Kapuso Foundation
More than 1,500 residents in Itbayat, Batanes affected by Typhoon Julian received help from the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
According to "24 Oras," Wednesday, the municipality is usually the first to get affected because of its location whenever a typhoon strikes the northernmost part of the country.
Among those who were greatly affected by Typhoon Julian was a resident named Juana, whose house got destroyed.
Another po is 'yung food and medical supplies, kailangan din po namin ng drinking water, rice," Itbayat MWSD officer Glaiza Malupa said.
With the help of the Philippine Air Force, GMA Kapuso Foundation delivered food packs and drinking water to affected residents.
For those who are interested to help, GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Shopee, PayMaya, Zalora, MegaMart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
