Fire hits residential-commercial area in Taytay, Rizal

A fire broke out in a residential-commercial area in Taytay, Rizal on Saturday night.

The fire broke out before 9 p.m. and reached the second alarm before it was finally put out before midnight, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

The affected area was at the corner of Naval Street and Rizal Avenue, according to a report by Olan Bola on Super Radyo dzBB.

Around 20 houses were affected, the BFP said.

No one was hurt in the fire, it added.

Investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire and estimated cost of property damage. —KG, GMA Integrated News
