Magnitude 4.7 quake hits off Davao Occidental

A magnitude 4.7 earthquake hits off the coast southeast of Jose Abad Santos in Davao Occidental early Friday morning, PHIVOLCS reported.

PHIVOLCS earlier reported that a magnitude 5.2 quake occurred in the area,

The quake, which occurred at 4:05 a.m. at the depth of 82 kilometers was tectonic in origin.
