Bulacan provincial council exec, driver killed in ambush

A board member of Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Bulacan and his driver died on Thursday afternoon after they were ambushed in Malolos, according to a report in “State of the Nation.”

Based on the results of the initial investigation, Ramil Capistrano - who is also is also the head of the Association of Barangay Captains - and his driver were inside their SUV when the unidentified suspects shot them at about 5:30 p.m. The two victims died on the spot.
