Mobile gamer gives cellphone to gunman in Cebu

A young man was busy playing a mobile game on his cellphone when he was held at gunpoint by a man in Cebu City. 

According to a report in “24 Oras” on Monday, the 20-year-old victim was outside a closed store when a man wearing a helmet approached him and pointed a gun at him.

The victim was not able to do anything and just gave his phone to the suspect. 

The suspect hurriedly went away in a motorcycle with his cohort as seen in the CCTV footage. 

The suspect was arrested not for robbery, but because he is facing complaints in another town for carrying firearms.

A gun and P60,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized from him by the authorities. 

The suspect admitted to his crime and said that he has other cohorts.—Vince Ferreras/LDF, GMA Integrated news
