Missing 10-year-old girl found dead in Atimonan, Quezon

A 10-year-old girl who was earlier reported missing was found dead inside a house in Atimonan, Quezon.

According to a 24 Oras report on Wednesday, CCTV footage showed that the victim was taken to an apartment.

When the authorities arrived at the residence, they found the victim’s body hidden underneath the kitchen sink.

Police believed the girl could have been raped before she was killed.

Police then conducted backtracking and traced that the suspect fled to Batangas.

The suspect was arrested and is now detained in Quezon. He declined to give a statement. —Sherylin Untalan/RF, GMA Integrated News
