Classes suspended in Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental school after health incident

Face-to-face classes were suspended at Corona A. Cabanilla National High School in Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental after one student experienced a medical incident, followed by several classmates behaving erratically.

According to a report by Super Radyo Davao’s Isabelle Mateo on Tuesday, the school president said a student was rushed to the health center on Monday due to difficulty in breathing.

The other students, from Grades 7 to 10, reported feeling weak and started struggling.

The 24 students are now in good condition, the report said, but classes remain suspended due to parents' worry. A priest is also expected to bless the school on Wednesday. — Vince Angelo Ferreras/BM, GMA Integrated News
