Garbage collector in Davao City dies after falling off truck

A garbage collector in Davao City died after getting caught in a hanging cable wire that caused him to fall off the truck.

According to the report of Super Radyo Davao’s Isabelle Mateo on Thursday, one of the fellow garbage collectors said the victim was the only one on top of the garbage truck. 

The other garbage collectors did not immediately notice that their colleague had already fallen and hit his head on the ground, the report added. 

Further, the truck driver pleaded to utility companies to fix the spaghetti or hanging wires on the roads to prevent accidents.
