Suspected shabu found in child's diaper during jail visit in Nueva Ecija

A 70-year-old man was arrested after guards found shabu hidden in his grandchild's diaper during routine inspection when they visited the Nueva Ecija Provincial Jail.

The suspect, a resident of Barangay San Juan ACCFA, Cabanatuan City was visiting his son in prison.

He was carrying his grandchild when they were made to undergo routine body inspection. In the process, guards discovered approximately one gram of shabu hidden in the child’s diaper.

The suspect was taken immediately to the Cabanatuan City Police Station and charged accordingly.

The suspected shabu found, valued at around P6,800, was sent to a crime laboratory for analysis.

The child was returned to the parents. —GMA Regional TV
