NBI-Regional 11 director Archie Albao said the serving of three arrest warrants took an hour, but the operation was peaceful, the report said.
The report also said that authorities looked into the underground portion of the KOJC, which is still under construction, but they did not see Quiboloy or any of the other co-accused.
Meanwhile, Israel Torreon, Quiboloy and KOJC’s lawyer, asked the police that there is no need to bring any firearms or officers when serving warrants just like what the NBI did.
Torreon added that they would allow authorities to enter the church premises as long as there is proper coordination.—Vince Ferreras/LDF, GMA Integrated News
