One of them had a working visa and was allegedly hiding an illegal alien, according to BI spokesperson Dana Sandoval in a report on "24 Oras Weekend."
The other Chinese citizen failed to provide proper documents.
Sandoval said the two individuals will face deportation charges. The BI will also check if they have pending cases in the Philippines.
Authorities had been monitoring the two before they were arrested.
They were later found hiding in a house inside a subdivision.
Authorities are also confirming the identity of the owner of the house who is allegedly a former government official. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VAL/VBL, GMA Integrated News
