Strawberry Farm in Benguet submerged in flood water due to Carina
The famed Strawberry Farm in La Trinidad, Benguet was unrecognizable after it was submerged into flood water due to the heavy rains brought by Typhoon Carina, according to a report.
According to the report of GMA Regional TV’s Cris Zuñiga in Balitanghali on Wednesday, several areas in the Cordillera Region were affected by the typhoon.
Several vehicles were also damaged by falling debris along Kennon Road in Baguio City. This led the local authorities to close the affected roads for now, the report said.
Floods also affected some roads in Baguio City.
Local authorities are also now monitoring the water level at the City Camp Lagoon in Baguio City, the report also said.
In its 11 a.m. bulletin, state weather bureau PAGASa said that “Carina” has intensified further as it moves towards Taiwan.
