Man shot dead in trike after posting bail for attempted murder

A man was shot dead inside a tricycle in Lipa City, Batangas after he posted bail for attempted murder.

According to a "Saksi" report on Thursday, investigation revealed that the victim was attacked by gunmen on a motorcycle and a car.

The victim was reportedly on his way home from jail after posting bail for the charge of attempted murder.

Authorities said it is possible that the armed suspects followed the victim on his way home.

Video footage of the incident showed that the tricycle attempted to drive towards a gasoline station during the attack.

Meanwhile, the family of the victim did not comment on the incident.
