19 Davao City Police personnel relieved from posts — PRO11

Nineteen police station commanders of Davao City Police Office (DCPO) have been relieved from their posts effective Monday, the Police Regional Office (PRO) 11 said Tuesday.

"Confirmed po na relieved ang 19 station commanders/officers-in-charge of the 19 police stations of DCPO," PRO 11 spokesperson Police Major Catherine dela Rey told GMA News Online.

(It's confirmed that the 19 station commanders/ officers-in-charge of the 19 police stations of DCPO.)

"They were replaced by officers from Police Provincial Offices and Regional Headquarters of PRO 11," she added.

According to Dela Rey, the move was "part of the duty/work of the Regional Director to assign/reassign officers."

GMA Regional TV One Mindanao's Kent Abrigana reported that the station commanders were relieved effective Monday, July 8.

They were reassigned to various offices of the PRO 10 based in Cagayan de Oro City.

Dela Rey said their new assignments were unrelated to the serving of arrest warrants on Pastor Apollo Quiboloy on June 10, 2024, the report said. — RSJ/KBK/VDV, GMA Integrated News
