28 year-old-man dies while saving sister trapped in cave

A 28-year-old man died after he tried to rescue his 15-year-old sister trapped inside Tubang Cave and Spring in Bohol.

In a Super Radyo dzBB report by Futch Anthony Inso of Super Radyo Cebu,  the victim's sister bathed in the spring in Barangay Danicop,  Antequera, Bohol with two companions.

The three then decided to enter the cave but the water suddenly rose, making it difficult for them to get out.

Around 8 p.m., the two companions of the victim's sister successfully swam out of the cave.

But because his sister was still left inside, the victim entered the cave to save her. 

The sister found it difficult to swim out of the cave. So she swam back into the cave.

However, the victim was left under the water and he drowned and died.

Responders were eventually able to rescue the victim's younger sibling. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
