Father, son nabbed for rape when 23-year-old victim was still a minor

A father and son were arrested in separate operations in Pili, Camarines Sur for allegedly raping the daughter of one of their partners.

According to John Consulta's report on "Saksi," the 75-year-old father and his son allegedly started raping the when she was nine years old. The rapes continued for four years.

The victim, now 23-years-old, reportedly asked for help from her mother but was ignored.

“Itong nanay is nag-offer doon sa bata ng P50,000 para hindi ituloy yung kaso, pero di pumayag yung anak niya mismo,” said CALABARZON Police regional director Police Brigadier General Paul Kenneth Lucas.

The suspects denied the accusations.

“Kung ako po ay papahintulutan makalabas dito po ay papatunayan ko ang aking sarili,” said one of the suspects.

(If I would be allowed to leave, I would be able to clear myself.)

Meanwhile, police arrested a 76-year-old in Claveria, Masbate for the rape of a minor.
