Incorporator in Pampanga POGO hub says name used without consent
One of the incorporators of the raided Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hub in Porac, Pampanga said his name was used without his consent, according to a 24 Oras report on Tuesday.
The incorporator said his previous Chinese employer used his and his family’s names to register the business Lucky South 99, the corporation that runs the illegal POGO hub.
GMA Integrated News located one of its incorporators through the address declared in Lucky South 99’s Certificate of Incorporation but he was not at his house when the news team arrived.
“They took advantage of me and my family. I was shocked,” the incorporator said in a phone interview.
“Kung tutuusin I’m a victim, we are victims also. Initially, ang sabi sa akin magkakaroon ng salary ang lahat ng incorporators na belong yung kapatid ko kasi they borrowed our name eh,” he added.
(In fact, I'm a victim, we are victims too. Initially, I was told that all the incorporators, my sibling included, would receive a salary because they borrowed our names.)
The incorporator also said he is willing to face the investigation to clear their names.
Meanwhile, several butcher knives were recovered during the ongoing search in the compound of the Porac POGO hub.
“I hate to think kung saan ginagamit ‘yun pero just imagine mga pang matador na patalim,” said PAOCC spokesperson Winston John Casio.

Authorities also obtained packages allegedly containing shabu.
The search of all 46 buildings within the compound is expected to be completed tomorrow or by Saturday.
“We will have to seek additional search warrants para sa mga sniffer dogs. Dyan sa area kasi maraming reports ng mga taong nasaktan nawala na torture at allegedly napatay sa lugar na yan,” Casio said.
