7-year-old girl found strangled by plastic twine

A 7-year-old girl in Canlaon City, Negros Oriental was found lifeless having apparently accidentally strangling herself with plastic twine while playing.

According to a 24 Oras report on Sunday, the girl had informed her mother she would be playing outside.

The police investigation showed that the girl had stepped on an object to raise herself so she could slip her head through a bit of plastic twine that had been hanging in a loop outside the girl’s house, then she must have slipped.

She was later found by her grandmother.
