Palace: May 15, 2024 a special non-working day in Sariaya, Quezon

Malacañang has declared May 15, 2024, a special non-working day in Sariaya town in Quezon province to celebrate the Agawan Festival.

Signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on May 6, Proclamation 537 states that the people of the municipality of Sariaya should be given full opportunity to enjoy the occasion. 

The Agawan Festival is an annual agricultural festival in honor of Saint Isidore the Laborer, the Catholic patron saint of farmers. — Anna Felicia Bajo/VBL, GMA Integrated News
