Man injured after SUV crashes into Cebu restaurant
One person was injured after a light sports utility vehicle crashed into a fast-food restaurant in Moalboal, Cebu on Thursday morning.
According to a 24 Oras report by Fe Marie Dumaboc, investigation revealed that the SUV’s 64-year-old driver was attempting to move the car after it hit a bus in the parking lot.
While attempting to reverse, the driver said he accidentally hit the accelerator and crashed into the fast-food chain’s glass pane and injured a 33-year-old customer.
The victim was rushed to the hospital with minor injuries.
“Ayon sa kanya, hindi niya na-control ang nasabing sasakyan dahil may problema,” said Moalboal Police Station chief Police Captain Claudio Gako.
(According to the driver, he was unable to control his vehicle due to a problem.)
