2 children found dead inside a car in Pampanga
Two children were found dead inside a car in Angeles City in Pampanga, according to the report of GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon on "State of the Nation" Friday.
Personnel from the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (CDRRMO), who responded to a call that was received past 2 p.m., about the children.
Rescuers, however, found two children, aged 2 and 3, lifeless inside the car.
Initial Investigation revealed that the parents of the two victims were actively looking for their missing children at the time of discovery.
CCTV footage showed two cousins playing near the vehicle, which was used for a ride-hailing application.
They then entered through the passenger side of the car. They were both found dead inside the vehicle past 2 p.m.
An autopsy will be done to determine the cause of death, while further investigation is being conducted regarding how the children ended up inside the car.
The children's parents were greatly distressed.
Meanwhile, the owner of the car extended his apologies to the mourning parents even though he has nothing to do with the death of the children. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/BAP, GMA Integrated News
