Tons of local 'salmon' found in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte shore

Tons of fish, locally known as “salmon,” were found ashore in Pagudpud town in Ilocos Norte,  according to a report on “24 Oras” Friday.

A councilor of Barangay Pasaleng said four fishing boats caught at least 10 tons of the local salmon, adding this is the first time they had such a significant catch. 

The villagers were able to take their share of the seafood for a meal.

At least two tons of anchovies or dilis were caught in the coastal barangay earlier. —Sundy Locus/LDF, GMA Integrated News
