3 dead in motorcycle-van collision in La Union

At least three persons riding a motorcycle died after colliding with a van along a highway in Naguilian, La Union.

According to a report on "State of the Nation" on Thursday, the victims were on their way home after attending a birthday party when the accident occurred.

The van driver has offered financial assistance to the victims’ family, who are yet to issue a statement.

Meanwhile, one person died in an accident involving a passenger jeep and a car in Laoag, Ilocos Norte.

With the force of the collision, the jeepney flipped to its side while the front portion of the car was completely wrecked.

One of the passengers of the car, who was brought to the hospital, was pronounced dead on arrival.
