1,200 residents affected by floods in Davao De Oro receive aid from GMA Kapuso Foundation


A total of 1,200 individuals from Pantukan, Davao De Oro received aid from the GMA Kapuso Foundation after they were affected by flooding and landscapes due to continuous rains.

According to "24 Oras," Monday, the provinces of Davao De Oro and and Davao del Norte were put in a state of calamity for the situation in the area.

Elmer Codon, Barangay Captain of Barangay Napnapan, said the rain has been pouring non-stop for three days. Thousands had to be evacuated from their homes.

The GMA Kapuso Foundation reached Davao City on Monday and distributed food packs to the affected residents in Pantukan.

In the coming days, the foundation will head to the municipalities of Nabunturan and Monkayo to deliver aid.
