3 suspects, including 17-year-old in killing of cop, nabbed in Calabarzon operations

The Calabarzon police arrested three wanted suspects in separate operations this week, according to a "24 Oras" report by John Consulta on Thursday.

A 17-year-old allegedly involved in the killing of a police officer and the wounding of two others during a buy-bust operation in Cavite was among the arrested suspects.

“Namatay yung isa nating kabaro at nakasugat ng dalawa pa. Biglang may mga tumatawag sa atin na alam nila kung saan nagtago yung anak, kaya inoperate din natin in Batangas,” said PNP – PRO4A Police Lieutenant Colonel Vic Cabatingan.

In another operation in Tagaytay City, another suspect was nabbed for statutory rape.

Police said that multiple unsuccessful attempts have been made for his arrest due to his constant movement.

“Biktima nito ay isang minor which is na-commit ang kasong ito sa Tagaytay pero nagtago siya sa Dasmariñas. Lumutang siya kaya naoperate ng ating mga operatiba,” Cabatingan said.

In a third operation, an arrest warrant was implemented against a suspect in Cordona, Rizal for the sale of illegal drugs.

“Para mabigyan natin ng hustisya, kailangan nating hulihin ang mga taong ito,” said PNP – PRO4A Regional Director Police Brigadier General Kenneth Paul Lucas. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/LDF, GMA Integrated News
