P4M worth of 'tsaa-bu' seized in Cotabato

More than P4 million worth of suspected shabu placed in tea packets ("tsaa-bu") were seized during a buy-bust operation in Cotabato City.

The suspect, a police officer, has long been under surveillance by the police before the operation, according to a report on Balitanghali on Tuesday.

Authorities arrested the said suspect along with two others.

They also confiscated from the suspects a gun and the buy-bust money.

The suspects have been placed under the custody of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and may face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/KG, GMA Integrated News
