65-year-old man in Quezon dies after being dragged by PNR train

A 65-year-old man died in Gumaca, Quezon after being dragged for 30 meters by a train of the Philippine National Railways (PNR), according to the report of GMA Regional TV Balitang Southern Tagalog on "State of the Nation."

According to Gumaca police, there were several warnings by the train but the man can't hear them.

PNR officials are coordinating with the family of the victim to extend assistance.

PNR issued a reminder to the public, to always be alert to avoid disasters. Officials also reminded the public to keep an eye on relatives with disabilities. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
