Grade 11 student shot dead inside school in Cotabato

A Grade 11 student was shot and killed inside his school in Cotabato.

According to a report on "Saksi," the 21-year-old and a classmate were fixing something on the stage when the suspect approached and shot him.

Other students also witnessed the shooting.

The authorities already have persons of interest in connection with the crime.

Police are looking into whether the victim being a CAFGU active auxilliary had something to do with his shooting to death.

GMA Regional TV One Mindanao is still trying to get a comment from the victim's family.

The Schools Division of Cotabato condemned the crime while the Department of Education in Cotabato called for justice and the arrest of those responsible. —Jiselle Casucian/NB, GMA Integrated News
