1 soldier, 2 CAFGU members shot dead in Banaue, Ifugao; suspect shoots himself

One soldier and two Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit (CAFGU) members were shot dead in Barangay Viewpoint, Banaue in Ifugao, according to the report of GMA Regional TV One North Central Luzon's Russel Simorio on "Saksi" Monday.

The suspect in the shooting incident is one of the CAFGU members, who used his service firearm to shoot his drinking buddies and himself.

All four were having drinks when the discussion turned sour, according to the police.

"Nagkaroon ng inuman sa mess hall nila, may naungkat na isyu regarding sa duty-han ng Civilian Active Auxiliary. Sabi ni Staff Sergeant Andrew Dulnuan sa suspek, pagusapan nila kinabukasan na paa mas maipaliwanag sa kanya kung bakit ganoon ang sistema ng duty-han nila," said Banaue Police Station Chief Police Major Richard Ananayo.
