The agency also added that the Bureau of Fire Protection had already received directives to assess post-quake damage and deploy medical assistance for affected individuals.

A total of 292 fire trucks, 17 ambulances, and 9 rescue trucks have been sent to assist victims.

(Rest assured that local chief executives and policemen will be focused on providing aid and ensuring the safety of those affected. We also call on affected residents to stay safe as aftershocks are expected and heed the call of local officials.)
