GMA Kapuso Foundation spearheads classroom construction project in Karding-hit Burdeos, Quezon

Students from Tulan Elementary School in Burdeos, Quezon will soon be able to utilize two new classrooms donated by GMA Kapuso Foundation.

According to “24 Oras,” Wednesday, they have been using a makeshift classroom that uses old tarpaulin as its walls since Typhoon Karding hit last year.

Whenever the rain pours, the sixth-grade students do not know where to take shelter.

The roof of the makeshift classroom also has many holes.

GMA Kapuso Foundation fulfilled their wish to have new classrooms and conducted a groundbreaking ceremony where two classrooms with comfort rooms are to be built under the Kapuso School Development Project.

“‘Yung ating structure, mostly ay buhos. Pati walling, buhos ‘yan.

Roberto S. Capulong, PA said.

GMA Kapuso Foundation also gave away gifts to the students as part of the Give-a-Gift: Alay sa Batang Pinoy Christmas Project.
