Baby found abandoned inside bag in Pangasinan

A newborn baby was found abandoned inside a bag in Malasiqui town in Pangasinan, according to a report on “24 Oras” Friday.

Concerned citizens said they discovered the newborn after hearing cries coming inside the bag that was left near a barangay hall.

Local officials immediately responded and rushed the baby to the hospital.

The baby was turned over to the municipal social welfare department (MSWD) while authorities are looking for the persons responsible for the incident.—Sundy Locus/LDF, GMA Integrated News
