Travelers flock to Batangas Port for long holiday break
By GMA Integrated News
Thousands of passengers have already transited through the Batangas Port as Filipinos head to the provinces to vote in the barangay elections and spend the Undas break.
A report by Paul Hernandez of GMA Regional TV Balitang Southern Tagalog on ''24 Oras Weekend'' on Saturday said over 25,000 outbound passengers were recorded, with more expected to arrive in the coming days.
Thirty non-frontline port personnel have already been deployed to assist passengers, while ambulant tellers are roaming the terminal to issue tickets.
The port management advised travelers to go to the port at least four hours before departure. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
