Man robs store in Laguna using 'sumpak'

A man was arrested in Sta. Rosa, Laguna after threatening convenience store employees with an improvised firearm and carted away the day's earnings, according to a report on "Saksi" Thursday.

A CCTV footage shows the man pulling out a "sumpak" inside a convenience store located in Biñan, Laguna and threatening the cashier and another employee.

The employees, out of fear, gave the suspect the contents of the cash register that amount to more thanP5,000.

The suspect was later on arrested, in the town of Sta. Rosa, and owned up to committing the crime. He is facing several complaints. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
