Man beats to death dog then cuts its head off in Koronadal

A man in Koronadal City was arrested after he was caught on video beating to death a dog. He also beheaded the animal.

According to John Consulta's report on "24 Oras," the footage of the incident showed the dog crying as the suspect beat it to death at a vacant lot.

Initial police investigations showed that the dog had chased the suspect, angering him.

The suspect said he had a traumatic experience with dogs after a relative suffered mental issues after getting bit.

He said he felt no regret for the action.

The suspect will face complaints for violating the Animal Welfare Act, and grave threats due to multiple complaints issued against him. —Jiselle Casucian/NB, GMA Integrated News
