2,400 students in Oriental Mindoro receive school supplies from GMA Kapuso Foundation
The GMA Kapuso Foundation gave complete school supplies to about 2,400 Oriental Mindoro students, including the residents of Sinariri.
“Ngayon lang ako nakatanggap ng bag. Salamat binigyan ako ng bag ng GMA Kapuso,” Caloy Bunyaw said.
The visit of the Foundation came three decades after its Ambassador and Special Adviser, Mel Tiangco, helped build a school at Sitio Sinariri in Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro.
According to a report on “24 Oras,” Friday, it was in 1986 when the Foundation extended some assistance to school and the residents.
After over 30 years, a lot has already changed in Sitio Sinariri, but what remains are the sacrifices of Sinariri Elementary School’s teachers who cross a river to reach their school.
For those who are interested to help, the GMA Kapuso Foundation is accepting donations through bank deposits, Cebuana Lhuillier, GCash, Shopee, PayMaya, Zalora, MegaMart, Globe Rewards, Metrobank credit card, and Lazada.
