2 women injured after being hit by ambulance in Tanza, Cavite
Two female pedestrians were injured after they were hit by an ambulance in Tanza, Cavite, according to the report of Nico Waje on "Saksi."
CCTV footage showed four women in Barangay Punta Uno in Tanza waiting to cross the road late Monday evening.
One of the pedestrians went ahead of the others. After an SUV passed, the three other women crossed the street.
However, two women were hit by an ambulance and could be seen lying on the road.
The same ambulance brought the women to the hospital for treatment.
According to Barangay Punta Uno officials, the ambulance was on its way back to Rosario town in Cavite after bringing a patient to Trece Martires when the incident occurred.
The ambulance is owned by the local government unit of Rosario.
According to Tanza police officials, a settlement has been reached between the two victims who suffered minor injuries and the driver of the ambulance.
The driver will pay for all the expenses of the victims.
