Cebu City orders food establishments to provide 'half-rice' option

The local government of Cebu City is requiring food establishments in the city to provide a half-rice option to customers, Unang Balita reported on Friday.

This was after the city government issued an ordinance for the mandatory half-rice option as part of efforts to avoid wastage.

The city council ordered the City Health Office to inspect food establishments to ensure compliance with the ordinance.
