Motorcycle hits student crossing pedestrian lane in Albay

A 15-year-old student was hit by a motorcycle while crossing a pedestrian lane in Daraga, Albay.

According to a "Saksi" report by Chris Novelo of GMA Regional TV Balitang Bicolandia, the victim together with another student were slowly traversing the road using the pedestrian lane when the speeding motorcycle came.

Both the student and the rider sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital.

According to the Daraga Municipal Police Station, both parties have reached a settlement for the rider to shoulder the costs of the victim's hospitalization.—Jiselle Anne Casucian/LDF, GMA Integrated News
