2 Nigerians arrested in PDEA buy-bust op in Cavite

Two Nigerians were arrested after the PDEA conducted a buy-bust operation in Imus, Cavite, according to a report on "Saksi" on Thursday.

Authorities confiscated about one kilo of suspected heroin with street value of about six million pesos.

Dried marijuana, cellphones, ID card, and marked money were also seized from the suspects. Also confiscated were contraband hidden inside school supplies.

PDEA officials said the suspects could be members of the West African drug syndicate.

The suspects declined to issue a statement. But one of the suspects insisted he had nothing to do with the transaction. He just went with his compatriot to meet with a Filipino girlfriend. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
