School principal hacked amid Brigada Eskwela in Zamboanga Sibugay
A school principal was hacked with a bolo by a 73-year-old suspect last Saturday morning amid Brigada Eskwela activities in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, according to a report of GMA Regional TV One Mindanao on "Saksi" Monday.
Police said the suspect got angry when he found that he could not pass through the school, a route that he takes everyday to reach his home.
The principal disallowed him from passing through the school and suggested that he take another route when an argument ensued. She was then hacked by the suspect.
The 46-year-old victim sustained wounds on the head and stomach but is in stable condition.
The volunteers of the Brigada Eskwela immediately accosted the suspect.
The suspect said the victim disrespected him but that he regrets his actions and would want to apologize to the victim. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
