According to a "24 Oras" report by Mark Salazar, the party for the birthday of the acting manager included a drinking session of alcoholic beverages.  A live band was also hired to entertain the guests.

“24 oras kasi ang operasyon dyan so, hindi pwedeng ikonsiderang after office.

The officers involved in the incident have been reassigned to another office while the investigation is ongoing.

GMA Integrated News is trying to reach out to the officers for their side.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) said that the incident may have violated the rule on conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service, misconduct or abuse of authority.  Those involved may face suspension from six months up to a year.

“Let us not use our respective positions, porke't boss ako kaya kong gawin.

The PPA said it will improve its surveillance system to avoid similar incidents. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/LDF, GMA Integrated News
